Glenwood Athletic Bands
The Glenwood Athletic Bands program encompasses both our award-winning Titan Marching Band and spirited
Pep Band. These ensembles are the musical ambassadors of school spirit, performing at athletic events,
competitions, and community gatherings throughout the year.
Our Athletic Bands program provides students with opportunities to develop their musicianship while fostering
school spirit and pride. Through their performances, our students create an exciting atmosphere at sporting
events and represent Glenwood schools with distinction.
Titan Marching Band
The Titan Marching Band is our premier marching ensemble,
performing intricate field shows at football games and
competitions throughout the fall season. With over 100 dedicated
members, the band combines musical excellence with precise
marching technique to create spectacular performances.
Members of the Titan Marching Band begin their season with a
summer band camp, where they learn marching fundamentals
and begin preparing their competition show. The band performs
at all home football games and competes in several marching
competitions throughout Illinois.
Titan Marching Band
The Glenwood Pep Band brings energy and excitement to
basketball games and other sporting events during the winter
season. This high-spirited ensemble performs popular music and
traditional school songs to enhance the game-day atmosphere
and boost school spirit.
Pep Band members learn a varied repertoire of music, from
classic rock to current hits, and play an essential role in creating
an exciting environment for our athletes and fans. The ensemble
provides students with opportunities to develop their musical
skills while having fun and supporting their school.
